Seminar "Personality Development"

The decisive accomplishment of Christopher Columbus in 1492 was not the discovery of America but rather the fact that he had the courage to set off into unknown waters against all of the advice of counsellors! (source unknown)

Who benefits from this kind of seminar

We assume that participants have a certain amount of life experience, that they come willingly, and that they are curious. They face a major challenge, have come to a critical turning point, or they simply want to learn more about themselves.

It is not by accident that we have built this seminar around the concept of a “trip.” A trip can have a clear goal, be a vision, help you relax, lead to discoveries, have to do with your curiosity, lift you out of lethargy, help you to find new things and much more.

You have decided to go on a trip or perhaps you are already on one. The seminar helps you answer the following questions:

  1. Where am I now?

  2. Where do I really want to go?

  3. Which route do I have to take?

In order to be able to answer these life questions, we would like to first make you aware of where we stand. You will learn more about yourself and gain clarity about where you come from. To a large extent, we work with you on your present but also on your future.

We assume that you will find a platform here which will enable you to understand, accept or also change things in your life. Everything that takes place here is voluntary.

During the seminar, which is based on 5 parts, you have the possibility to work on your own questions.

While working on our seminar on personality development, we came into contact with the number 5 time and again. It was natural and obvious that we also selected a corresponding symbol for the number 5.

We have consciously drawn the anti-cyclical circles around the pentagon. On the one hand, they symbolise self-perception and how others see you and, on the other, our life. The 5 corners are labeled with what we consider to be the 5 central questions: system of values, life axis, life balance, relationships, and capabilities-potential.

How is the seminar organised?

ModuleLengthFocusInterval
Part I2 daysThe Past and the Originca. 4 months
Part II2 daysThe Presentca. 4 months
Part III + IV4 daysThe Future and the Pathca. 4 months
Part V2 daysRemain Successfullca. 6 months

The intervals between the parts have been selected to allow sufficient time for reflection or actively experience and or arrange changes. Therefore, another important requirement in this seminar is patience.

How will we work

You work with guidance on two-person discussions, group discussions, analysis tools. You will invest time in self-reflection, and we will take a future walk together.

During the entire length of the seminar, you also work on your ocean map and enter important findings, questions and experiences in your personal logbook.

What results can I expect?

We look for solutions for your individual wishes and expectations together in the seminar. You yourself decide what you want to achieve. Therefore, it is important that you come voluntarily and with a willingness to work on yourself. Another important precondition is that you are willing to allow for change and have enough time to invest in the seminar and also in the phase after the seminar. We are talking about a trip and not a one-day excursion.

What can I do to prepare for this?

You are the centre! Your views, opinions and convictions– and not some theory – form the foundation. So that we can support you best, it is important that we are aware of your expectations. You will prepare for the seminar and deal with the questions asked of you conscientiously. You bring your preparations to the seminar. In the seminar, you only mention what you want.

Otherwise, you will need – besides something to write with – a positive attitude, openness and curiosity. Dress is relaxed and comfortable.

We think it is very important that you are in agreement with the following requirements and willing to comply with some rules:

  • No e-mail and telephone calls throughout the entire seminar

  • A willingness to invest enough time (also after the end of a seminar session)

  • Allowing changes to take place (accepting)
